Greenwashing advice: unbleached paper; organic poppies; 100% recycled lead; produced with renewable energy. (this is an initial idea/visualisation – work in progress)

The Norwegian state is the majority shareholder in Equinor, which aims to connect its oil platforms in the North Sea to supplies of renewable energy on land. The costs of laying the cables will be enormous. The aim is to give the appearance of “cleaner” gas and oil, and reduced emissions. The oil and gas that will be saved by electrification will simply be sold to other countries – the emissions will remain the same.
